Hah, hello world! Thought I’d start my blog with the best British Breakfast, the full English! 😀

Statistics created in the last 6 months show that us Brits have got through 142 million English breakies MORE than last year, that’s an almost 10% increase since 2017.

If you don’t know what an English breakfast is, well it’s (most but not all of this lot) usually bangers (sausages), fried eggs, fried mushrooms, tomato, baked beans (Heinz please!), black pudding (I’ll pass on that, it’s fried pigs blood!), bacon, couple of bits of toast or hash browns.

And after typing that lot I could murder a full English, even though it’s half nine at night here.

Sophie.M who works for the English Breakfast Society (I’m so glad we have one of those! :D) – has got a top 10 list of places in English to go and eat a full English (challenge accepted!).

The winner is Quo Vadis in Soho, sounds a bit posh for me but I’m going to give it a go for sure! It’s £12 which is a bit more than I’d usually pay, so it’d better be worth it!

To quote… “This fabulously British restaurant in the heart of Soho serves up a great breakfast, with a kitchen led by celebrity chef Jeremy Lee, there is no doubting this breakfast is going to have your taste buds buzzing for days to come. Beautifully served fresh produce and delightfully friendly staff make this the English Breakfast Society’s favourite eatery.”

We will see! 😉

What’s your ideal English breakfast?
